Transport you can trust

The last mile is where deals go wrong. Uninsured haulers, no GPS, no photo proof — we've heard every horror story. Ranch Hero transport partners are background-checked, insured, and GPS-tracked.

Transport marketplace launching soon

We're currently vetting our first cohort of transport partners across Texas. In the meantime, fill out the transport request form below and we'll personally connect you with a vetted hauler. Request transport →

How it works

Six steps from listing sale to safe delivery.

Step 1

Request a transport quote

Enter pickup and delivery locations, animal count, and your timeline. We'll match you with available vetted haulers in your area.

Step 2

We match you with a vetted hauler

All haulers in our network have passed background checks, carry livestock insurance, and have a USDOT number. No Craigslist strangers.

Step 3

Coordinate with your hauler

Direct contact through the Ranch Hero platform. Every message is logged for your protection.

Step 4

Real-time GPS tracking

Track your animal from pickup to delivery on a live map. Haulers are required to enable location sharing for the duration of the trip.

Step 5

Photo proof at pickup and delivery

Haulers submit photos of the animal at pickup and delivery. If something is wrong, you have documentation before signing off.

Step 6

Health paperwork handled

Haulers are familiar with USDA interstate movement requirements and can advise on what certificates are needed for your route.

Real problems we prevent

These aren't hypothetical — they're complaints we heard from the community before Ranch Hero existed.

"Hauler" took my deposit and disappeared"

We verify identity and USDOT numbers before any hauler can accept jobs. Every transaction goes through Ranch Hero, not Venmo.

"Animal arrived injured and hauler denied it"

Mandatory photo documentation at pickup means there's a timestamped record of the animal's condition before transport.

"Hauler took a detour and the trip took 3 days"

GPS tracking shows the actual route and transit time. Haulers who deviate without explanation are investigated.

"I had no idea where my animal was"

Live tracking link shared with buyer and seller the moment the hauler leaves the pickup location.

Hauler Standards

What it takes to haul on Ranch Hero

We don't let anyone with a trailer haul. Every transport partner in our network has passed a multi-point review before their first job. This isn't the same bar as Facebook Marketplace.

  • Valid USDOT number on file
  • Proof of livestock insurance (minimum $100K per occurrence)
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Appropriate trailer type for highland cattle (stock or slat, no straight decks)
  • Agreement to GPS tracking requirements
  • Agreement to photo documentation standards
  • Minimum 2 verifiable references from past livestock clients

Are you a livestock hauler?

We're onboarding transport partners across Texas. If you haul highland cattle and meet the standards above, we'd love to add you to the network.
